The designs depicted are some of the mysterious illustrations that plague the databases of Arboretum 829, appearing in the least expected places. All that is known of them is that they seem to match those found in the codex entitled "Xenobolianethaz: The Salient Features of Our World". As the legends state, Xenobolianethaz is that lost world that was never lost. It is a world, they say, with a "different mode of being", which fades in and out of "being proper" in unknown times and places, like the ghostly imprint on the ornate death shrouds of Zhe. It is the world in which certain advanced mystics have found themselves, hence the resemblance of the illustrations in their esoteric writings.
